Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping parts and equipment. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments; verify accuracy against purchase orders. Stock parts in proper bin locations using correct labeling and organizational methods. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping or customer pickup with speed and accuracy. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory to maintain accurate stock levels. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed). Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times. Assist in other areas of the warehouse or with special projects as needed.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous warehouse, inventory, or shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods. Basic math and reading skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Attention to detail and strong work ethic. Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable attendance and teamwork skills. Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to be trained).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move products up to 75 pounds and use warehouse equipment safely. Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Work Environment:
The role is based in a warehouse or distribution center setting, which may involve exposure to warehouse conditions (e.g., temperature variations, noise, etc.). Flexible work hours may be required to meet the needs of the business.
