Full Job Description Job Purpose:
This individual will be responsible for picking and packing orders daily. The daily role requires sorting of packages by hand, including lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and placing, in a safe and efficient manner. Individuals will work directly with full-time associates to fulfill orders for outbound processing.Responsibilities:
- Fulfill sales orders by picking sales order via RF scanner. The associate will use Order Picker, Stand-Up, and Sit-down forklifts.
- The associate will pick product, apply labels, and palletize shipments for outbound processing
- Assist associates with proper labeling according to customer standards
- Palletize cartons according to ship via the method and proper stacking patterns
- Use proper lifting techniques to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in a hot/cold environment for the entire day
Skills/Qualifications:
- 2+ years of warehouse operations experience, stock/material handling preferred
- Individuals will work extended hours most days and will be expected to work the entire shift each day
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Forklift experience preferred
