Responsibilities:
Pick, pack, label, and prepare outgoing shipments according to customer orders and routing requirements. Verify product counts, item numbers, labels, and shipping information for accuracy before shipment. Ensure boxes, pallets, and outbound freight meet customer, company, and compliance guidelines. Prepare, review, and maintain accurate shipping documentation. Use WMS, RF scanners, AS400, or inventory systems to update shipment status and track inventory movement. Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move products and load trucks. Stage outbound orders in designated shipping areas for pickup or delivery. Assist with loading delivery trucks, containers, or trailers safely and efficiently. Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy as needed. Support receiving and put-away functions by inspecting inbound freight, checking for damage, and placing products in assigned warehouse locations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all company safety rules, warehouse procedures, and equipment operation guidelines. Communicate shipment issues, product discrepancies, damages, or delays to supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, shipping, receiving, or order fulfillment experience preferred. Forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, or powered industrial truck experience preferred. Ability or willingness to obtain equipment certification as required. Experience using RF scanners, WMS platforms, AS400, inventory software, or basic computer systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to verify product counts, labels, and documentation accurately. Basic math skills required for counting, measuring, and inventory verification. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work at a fast pace. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull, and move heavy objects frequently. Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks. Must be comfortable working in various warehouse conditions, including ambient or temperature-controlled environments. Must be able to safely operate warehouse equipment as required.
