Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Labor/Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Your hands-on approach and mechanical aptitude will contribute to maintaining smooth production workflows, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting overall factory operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in manufacturing, machining, and equipment operation within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate a variety of manufacturing machinery including press brake machines, and punch, lasers to produce precision parts. Set up and adjust equipment using technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to ensure accurate production runs. Perform routine maintenance. Handle materials safely using forklifts, hand tools, and other materials handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products within the factory or warehouse. Conduct quality control inspections utilizing calipers, micrometers, precision measuring instruments, and other tools to verify dimensions and adherence to specifications. Assist with fabrication tasks including assembly line work, tooling setup, and packaging of finished goods. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading and technical drawings for precise fabrication and assembly. Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse handling equipment is a plus. Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during setup and quality checks. Knowledge of quality control procedures using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Previous exposure to fabrication techniques such as welding or tooling is advantageous but not required. Join us if you're ready to bring energy into your work every day!
