In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, order and receive fencing materials, maintain accurate inventory, prepare daily loads for our installation teams, and keep our facility in good working order. Your leadership will drive process improvements, uphold safety standards, and maintain seamless workflows for ordering, receiving, and execution. Duties Responsible for warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping & receiving, and materials handling to ensure timely order fulfillment. Oversee inventory control processes using in-house software to maintain accurate and adequate stock levels and reduce inventory discrepancies. Daily preparation of loads for each build crew. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, safety compliance (OSHA standards), and overall workflow. Operate forklifts and other mechanical equipment safely for heavy lifting, materials handling, and stock movement within the warehouse. Monitor shipping & receiving activities, ensuring proper documentation, quality checks, and adherence to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations within a fast-paced logistics environment. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS), warehouse management practices, and materials handling procedures. Hands-on experience with forklift operation and mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment. Certification (or ability to obtain) is required. Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes, 3PL operations, and logistics coordination. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards aligned with OSHA regulations. Prior experience working in e-commerce or heavy industry warehouses is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to implement process improvements for operational excellence. Additional Skills / Qualifications Project Management / Lean Six Sigma or other formal logistics training is a plus Spanish language skills helpful (but not required) If you are mechanically inclined, there may be additional earning opportunities available by performing minor fence repairs (not required). Must have clean background check, motor vehicle record, and pass regular drug screening.
