Material Handler

We are placing several Material Handlers for a long-term temp-to-hire opportunity at a production facility in Conover, NC. This is a fast-paced, highly physical role in an industrial environment. Interviews are held daily at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM — start ASAP. Schedule Schedules provided directly by the employer upon placement Overnight and Day shifts are available Compensation DOE (Depending on Experience) Responsibilities Package bulk materials such as mulch and soil into finished product bags Meet weight, quality, and production standards consistently throughout each shift Work safely in an industrial environment with continuous exposure to dust and outdoor conditions Maintain a fast, steady pace to meet daily production targets Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE throughout each shift Requirements Heavy lifting ability required — physically demanding role Ability to read and write fluent English Steel-toed shoes required (pants recommended due to fiber/dust exposure) No felonies within the last 7 years; no repetitive offenses No misdemeanors within the last 3 years No sexual or violent offenses ever (including misdemeanors and pending charges) Must pass drug screening prior to placement Must complete safety orientation prior to interview Interview information Interviews are conducted daily at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. Candidates who pass drug screening will receive their badge and schedule directly from the employer.
