Job Description

Safe Harbor is a Christ-centered community for rebuilding, renewing, and recovery. Our non-profit serves women recovering from substance use disorder, women living in low poverty and/or experiencing homelessness, and women in transitional housing.
Duties:
Load and unload furniture Assist the primary dock worker Help move furniture to sales floor Inspect clothing for tears and stains, check pockets, spray and hang Track daily production totals Ensure checklists are completed on a daily basis Sort items between keep, recycle and trash Go out on pickups and deliveries when neededQualifications:
Valid NC driver's license; good driving record High school diploma or GED, minimum Heavy lifting (50+ pounds) Highly organized, efficient worker; capable decision-maker and effective leader Proficiency in English language- spoken and written Ability to effectively present information to individuals and groups Ability to perform basic math functions Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks; ability to delegate tasks to others with appropriate authority Basic computer skills
- working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and social media Has strong work ethic
- conscientious of schedule and maximizes work time Evangelical Christian commitment and lifestyle are consistent with Safe Harbor's Statement of faith and governing values.
