This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the shipping department while continuing to work hands-on with processing orders and managing materials. You will also serve as the first point of contact for team members and plays a key role in communication with the HR department regarding attendance and personnel updates. The primary shift for this opportunity is 10pm-9am, Monday-Thursday, for 4 months. Job Description Lead daily operations related to shipping, receiving, and material handling. Process and pack orders accurately for shipment. Pull and deliver materials from designated storage racks to appropriate departments. Maintain and verify inventory levels; update stock records using written, verbal, or computerized methods. Replenish inventory as needed from incoming receipts. Shrink wrap pallets and prepare shipments per customer-specific requirements. Verify order accuracy, including materials and quantities, and report any discrepancies or shortages. Maintain records related to shipping, receiving, and material movement. Assist coworkers with clocking in and troubleshooting timekeeping issues. Check in employees at the start of each shift and provide general support throughout the workday. Communicate daily attendance updates, concerns, or absences to the HR Manager via email. Foster a positive and productive team environment through example and support. Complete other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Previous leadership experience. Proven history of excellent attendance. Flexibility to work overtime, as needed. Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 30lbs. consistently.
