Material Handler - Maiden

We bring you tomorrow's opportunity, today Volt is immediately hiring for multiple Material Handlers, with our Data Center in Maiden, NC. Our client is a fortune 100, multinational technology company, that designs, develops and sells consumer electronics, computer software, and online services and is considered one of the Big Four tech companies. As a Material Handler you will: Ensure all packaging such as cardboard and warps are disposed of according to company policy Assisting in shipping, receiving, storage and distribution activities for the Data Center to include unboxing and boxing/crating of data center equipment Assisting in inventory control, cycle count programs, de-trashing and breaking down materials & keeping the facility clean and organized Assisting in removal of decommissioned assets from the data halls General dock and inventory duties as assigned This is a full time, Monday - Friday 7am to 4:30 pm opportunit y.

The ideal candidate:

Able to lift inventory up to 50 lbs on a semi regular basis Able to stand and walk for most of your shift Able to work in a team and independently as needed Ability to pass pre-employment screenings Must have intermediate computer skills. Comfort in using them, and comfort with technology

Pay Rate:
