COPY LINK link Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting a Material Handler for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity in Monroe, NC. This position plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring materials are available for production, maintaining inventory accuracy, and safely operating material handling equipment. If you have forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, today! Responsibilities The Material Handler will be responsible for, but not limited to: Operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently Reviewing production plans and ensuring materials are available to support continuous production Performing routine quality checks on materials and finished products Conducting ERP/SAP warehouse transactions and creating transfer orders Training associates on material handling, transfer procedures, and forklift operation Coordinating material movement throughout the production area Maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse operations Communicating with supervisors and production teams to ensure material needs are met Maintaining a clean,anized, and safe work environment Following all safety procedures, SOPs, and PPE requirements Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent Forklift License required Proficiency operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks Strong written and verbalmunication skills Basicputer skills Ability to pass a pre-employment exam Work Schedule & Details
Pay Rate:
$18.50 per hour
Location:
Monroe, NC
Schedule:
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Rotation:
2-2-3 Schedule
Training Requirement:
Must be able to train on 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), Monday-Friday, for approximately 5 months
