As a Material Handler, your expertise in operating industrial vehicles and managing inventory will directly impact our operational efficiency. Responsibilities Transport materials throughout the warehouse using forklifts and other equipment, ensuring timely delivery to designated areas. Efficiently load and unload shipments, verifying accuracy and preventing damage to goods. Perform routine inspections on forklifts, promptly reporting any maintenance issues to ensure equipment safety and reliability. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others. Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking product movement and updating the system as needed. Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize warehouse workflow and enhance overall productivity. Uphold a clean and organized workspace, ensuring efficient operations and minimizing hazards. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Valid certification to operate a forklift. Demonstrated experience in operating forklifts within a warehouse or industrial setting. Preferred Skills Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with the role. Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork. Basic computer skills for inventory management and reporting purposes.
