Job Description
Join our winning team! RPM Manufacturing is an established supplier and production company located in Sanford, NC. We receive and store materials and package and ship products for our customers. Our business continues to grow and develop, and we are looking for bright, energetic, team-oriented individuals to grow with us. This is a physically and mentally active position with a significant amount of responsibility that is well suited for a self-motivated individual. We believe that employee development is essential for the company and for our employees' personal growth. The warehouse specialist will receive training in all aspects of warehouse operations so they may be successful in their role. Job Description The warehouse specialist unloads inbound delivery trucks by hand, with a pallet jack, or forklift as needs require. Materials are inspected, received in, and then stored in the proper location(s). As outbound orders are received, items are picked from inventory, kitted together, and packaged for shipping. Once orders are completed the warehouse specialist's general responsibilities include the following:
- Move materials within the warehouse
- Help the acrylic bending specialist bend acrylic panels to specification as demand requires
- Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse facility
- Additional responsibilities as assigned Requirements for Success The warehouse specialist will have the following traits to ensure they are successful in their role.
- Be able to lift and carry 50 to 75 pounds (unloading trucks and pulling certain items)
- Walking and standing for long periods of time
- Proficient with computers with the ability to quickly learn new software
- Adaptability as processes and workflows change
- Ability to read and interpret lists and forms and cross reference to various databases
- Strong attention to detail
