In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods through various warehouse processes, supporting order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. Your proactive approach and commitment to safety will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. Duties Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move, load, unload, and organize inventory efficiently. Assist with order picking and packing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Stock shelves and storage areas systematically, maintaining organized and accessible inventory for quick retrieval. Prepare shipments by packaging products securely and verifying order accuracy through picking & packing procedures. Manage shipping & receiving tasks by inspecting incoming goods, updating inventory records in systems like AS400 or MRP software, and documenting all transactions. Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with team members to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency. Maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts and inventory audits, ensuring data integrity in warehouse management systems. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is highly preferred, especially with e-commerce or distribution centers. Proficiency in operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners is essential; certification is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software enhances your ability to perform duties effectively. Basic math skills are necessary for inventory counts, measurements, and order calculations. Experience with shipping & receiving processes ensures smooth handling of inbound and outbound shipments. Knowledge of picking & packing techniques improves accuracy in order fulfillment tasks. Warehouse experience involving stock management, order picking, load & unload procedures contributes to operational excellence.
