As a Warehouse Associate , you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, efficiency, and safety of our warehouse operations. You will complete assigned warehouse functions, including receiving, inventory management, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping. Duties and Responsibilities Adheres to all company safety policies and procedures, in addition to staying up to date with requirements to maintain exemplary standards of health and safety across all work areas. Receives deliveries into ERP system with attention to detail. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and contacts Purchasing to rectify damages and shortages. Partners with Purchasing department as needed regarding priorities of inbound materials. Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records Verifies product and quantity accuracy. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated location Kits and bags parts per customer or business requirements. Accurately picks items for outbound shipment utilizing assigned mobile electronic equipment. Removes products from warehouse shelves and places products on pallets, with a pallet jack or forklift, following stacking policies to prevent product damage. Cycle counts inventory and participates in inventory management activities. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment, physically and in ERP system. Packs outbound orders for secure shipment. Follow shipping instructions administered by customer service for shipments processed through the ERP system or if designated follow detailed instructions on how to schedule, organize and process shipments outside the ERP (LTL shipments, UPS WorldShip, FedEx Portal, etc) Ships orders in ERP system. Complete Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) functions as needed. Maintains attention to detail at all times. Ability and willingness to be cross trained on multiple functional warehouse duties. Operates Powered Industrial Vehicles (forklift, powered pallet jack) as needed. Follows all safety rules and protocols. Other duties as assigned. Education, Skills, and Responsibilities Two years of warehouse experience preferred. Knowledge/experience of distribution, warehousing, and related manufacturing practices preferred. Ability to work towards established goals and objectives to complete projects and achieve independently. Ability to effectively communicate. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
