Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods out of our facility. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that all shipments are processed efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall success of our business operations.

Primary function include:

Prepare items for shipment, by processing packages, through computer system. Duties include some assembling, addressing and shipping merchandise or material, and arranging for the transportation of products. Responsibilities Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as invoices or orders to verify accuracy Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes Prepare documents, such as shipping orders to route materials or merchandise Pack, seal, label, or affix shipping labels to prepare materials for shipping, using computer generate labels. Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins. Determine shipping methods, routes, or rates for materials to be shipped. Function as part of team to achieve company goals Requirements Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred. Familiarity with shipping processes, including order picking, packing, and inventory management. Ability to operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
