Full-time with benefits $15/hr. or more with experience DCI Inc. is seeking a meticulous and organized Warehouse Clerk to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse. This includes maintaining our stockroom, accurately recording inventory, and handling materials and equipment. We pride ourselves on our efficient and safe warehouse operations, and we are looking for someone who can contribute to our high standards. Responsibilities
  • Accurately receive, count, and record stock items using both manual and computer systems.
  • Prepare required stock, supplies, and hardware for assembly and installation jobs.
  • Efficiently pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
  • Keep accurate records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
  • Inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Unload palletized freight with a forklift. Additional Information Help for Additional Information. Qualifications
  • Ability to stand and move for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Capable of bending, stretching, lifting, twisting, and reaching with the body, arms, and legs.
  • Ability to see details at close range.
  • Good coordination between hands, arms, and legs to safely handle, stock, and retrieve materials.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. without assistance and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
