JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our production team. This is an entry-level position - no prior manufacturing experience required. We hire for attitude and train for skill. If you're a hard worker who shows up, follows instruction well, and takes pride in what you do, we want to meet you. Depending on production needs, you may be placed in one or more areas of our operation, including product assembly, sheet metal fabrication, component pre-assembly, order picking and pulling, or packing and shipping. We'll match you to the work that fits best and invest in your growth from day one.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assembly:
Assemble products or sub-components using company-provided hand and power tools per work instructions.
Fabrication Support:
Support sheet metal fabrication and component pre-assembly operations as directed.
Order Fulfillment:
Pick, pull, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
Work Order Compliance:
Follow work orders, blueprints, and supervisor direction to ensure correct parts, quantities, and sequence.
Production Goals:
Work toward daily and weekly production targets safely, accurately, and efficiently.
SafetyHousekeeping:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Attitude:
A positive, team-first mindset and genuine willingness to learn - this is our top priority.
Dependability:
Strong attendance and punctuality; we count on everyone to show up and be ready to work.
Physical Ability:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
Teamwork:
Ability to take direction and work cooperatively as part of a production team.
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred; no manufacturing experience required - we train. No manufacturing experience? No problem. We'll teach you everything you need to know.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSWORK ENVIRONMENT
This role is performed in WMS's Londonderry, NH manufacturing facility. The following physical demands are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Regularly required to stand and walk throughout the shift; use hands to handle parts and tooling; reach, bend, stoop, and crouch as the work requires. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.; occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs., with team-lift protocols for heavier components. Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to moderate-to-loud noise levels - hearing protection required and provided. Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles typical of a production floor - PPE required and provided.
