What to expect : Position Summary The Group Leader, Warehouse is responsible for providing leadership and direction to co-workers in the execution and completion of daily tasks, including work order fulfillment, receipt activities, and the processing of customer and field service orders. The role emphasizes a strong commitment to safety, compliance with quality systems, and adherence to all applicable standards and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Prioritize assignments and ensure production needs are met daily.
- Retrieve and ensure computer-generated customer shipping orders are picked and shipped in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations.
- Perform daily receipts for all incoming materials.
- Assign duties to the warehouse team based on daily workload requirements.
- Perform data entry and prepare shipment documentation per carrier requirements.
- Complete all necessary documentation and reports.
- Assist with inventory cycle counting.
- Provide supervisors with personnel evaluations and assist in employee training.
- Support team growth through training and engagement.
- Assist Shipping functions when needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
What we expect:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.- 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience in an FDA-controlled environment preferred.
- DOT Hazardous Materials training preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of MRP systems required.
