Overview Join our dynamic team as a Yard Associate and become a vital part of our operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth logistics flow within our yard to support our service, parts, and sales teams. Your proactive approach will help us maintain a safe, organized, and productive workspace where every task contributes to our overall success. Duties Safely operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, construction equipment, tractors, to move materials throughout the yard. Manage inventory control by accurately stocking, picking, and loading attachments for customers. Assist with some assembly and reconditioning when needed. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to OSHA guidelines, mechanical safety procedures, and proper heavy lifting techniques. Collaborate with supervisors to optimize space utilization, improve workflow efficiency, and uphold safety protocols. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred. Strong organizational skills a must Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation or maintenance is advantageous. Experience with materials handling in manufacturing or construction environments will be beneficial.
