00 Responsibilities of the
Material Handler:
Receive, inspect, identify, count, and weigh incoming materials, parts, and products; verify items against packing slips and receiving documents; report discrepancies. Accurately pick, stage, issue, and deliver materials to manufacturing lines in accordance with work orders and production schedules. Perform ERP/MRP transactions for material movement, inventory adjustments, and work order fulfillment. Support cycle counting, physical inventory, and audit requirements to maintain high inventory accuracy. Ensure proper material labeling, traceability, and storage in compliance with
FDA, ISO
13485, and GMP standards. Qualifications of the
Material Handler:
High school diploma or equivalent; ability to understand and use commercial English and basic mathematics. Familiarity with material handling documents, shipping/receiving procedures, and warehouse operations. Ability to read and interpret work orders, packing slips, receipt travelers, and technical labels. 1-3 years of material handling, inventory, warehouse, or shipping/receiving experience (regulated manufacturing preferred). Basic computer skills; experience with ERP/MRP systems, RFID scanning equipment, and MS Office a plus. Material Handlers Apply Today!
