Job Summary The Material Handler:
Is responsible for supplying, organizing and issuing all thermoplastic materials in a timely fashion to the Extrusion dept. This position also performs secondary operations for the dept. as needed. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and organize 2nd floor raw material storage area Prepares raw materials for daily production runs Review pending job orders to determine type and quantity of materials needed for pending jobs Weigh and measure materials and colorants using scales Responsible for issuing all materials used post job completion Operate as a team player to assist in meeting department goals Operate pneumatic tubing cutter to cut off-line jobs Performs secondary cutting and packaging of tubing Assist operators when needed in collecting tubing Able to measure critical tubing dimensions such as: I.D., O.D. and length Responsible for periodic cycle counting of all raw materials Other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements Entry level position, 1-2 years manufacturing experience preferable
