Responibilities:

Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to packing slips. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and colo or product code. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department. Mark materials with identifying information using the appropriate method. Assist in counting physical inventory. Weigh and count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards. Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments. Sweep, dust, and mop. Always organize warehouse and work area per housekeeping standards. Wear the proper safety equipment.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent At least 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting, preferably in shipping and receiving. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Must have strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. Proficiency in basic math, including counting, addition, subtraction, and basic weight measurements. Effective verbal and written communication skills to read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions. Ability to sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence. amiliarity with using requisition forms and basic warehouse software is a plus.

Medical insurance & dental insurance (company to cover 50% for employee only), paid vacation (5 days/year) which is accrued on a bi-weekly basis, and sick leave (1 hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours per year) will commence after the conclusion of the probation period. Employee will be eligible for 401K after 1 year of consecutive employment.
