Yard Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Yard Worker to join our dynamic team! Duties Assist in loading and unloading trucks and trailers using heavy equipment such as forklifts, wheel loaders, telehandlers and excavators ensuring safety and efficiency. Work with cranes and other heavy machinery to move materials safely within the yard. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying shipments, inspecting goods, and documenting inventory movements. Maintain a clean, organized yard environment by stacking pallets, securing loads, storing equipment in designated areas and managing materials handling equipment. Perform general facility maintenance tasks such as cutting grass, trimming vegetation and picking up trash and debris throughout the facility. Conduct regular safety inspections following industry standards to identify hazards and ensure compliance. Support warehouse and shop personnel with pulling equipment from storage and placing equipment into storage. Previous experience in construction environments with knowledge of material handling is helpful. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and rigging is highly desirable. Strong sense of awareness for working safely and looking out for the safety of others. Prior experience in shipping and receiving a plus. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
