Second Shift General Laborer Delta Paper Corporation 122 Kissel Road, Suite B, Burlington
NJ 08016
Hours:
3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Monday -
Friday Responsibilities:
Must show up on time every day, and call out if not able to come to work. Must follow GMPs (Wear hairnet/beard net all the time, no food or drinks other than water on floor, etc.) Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures. Must take immediate action to correct and/or report any unsafe conditions and hazards. Wrapping, pushing and lifting heavy material Utilize lockout/tagout as required, following established policy; ensure guarding is in place at all times. Ensure that work is being performed in a manner to produce quality products, according to our quality requirements and specifications. Follow all applicable food service policies and procedures. Meet production targets set by management. Report machine adjustments and repairs to be done to Supervisor. Must be able to keep up with budgeted machine speed. Assist Machine Operator, if needed, while he/she performs work on machines during downtime, assisting in stripping and changing rolls and in clean-up. Keep accurate production reports, ensuring all required forms are filled out completely, accurately and legibly. Assist crew members with various duties.
Requirements:
Reading, writing and basic math skills are needed to complete paperwork. This is an entry level position. Team player / whatever it takes mentality Must have ability to discern detail and make decisions about roll and sheet quality. Must be able to keep up with pace of machine(s) and operators Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously Driver's license preferred US work authorization
