General Laborer - Warehouse Palletizer Job Description The Warehouse Palletizer plays a key role in warehouse operations by stacking, arranging, and securing products onto pallets for storage or shipment. This position ensures that goods are prepared efficiently, safely, and accurately to support smooth warehouse workflows and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities Build pallets securely to meet weight distribution and stability requirements. Stack, arrange, and organize products on pallets for storage or shipment. Wrap, label, and prepare pallets using shrink wrap and other materials for shipping or storage. Inspect products for damage or defects before palletizing and report any issues. Maintain accurate records of pallet counts, completed orders, and related documentation. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and staging pallets in designated areas. Perform pallet building, picking, put-away, and related warehouse tasks. Operate RF scan guns to track inventory and confirm orders. Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report maintenance needs. Follow warehouse safety protocols and comply with OSHA standards. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe environment. Essential Skills Experience with shipping and receiving in a warehouse environment. Hands-on experience with palletizing and pallet building. Ability to perform shrink wrapping of pallets for shipping or storage. Experience loading trucks and staging pallets in designated areas. Experience with picking and put-away activities in a warehouse setting. Ability to use an RF scan gun for inventory tracking and order processing. Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs, including cases of wine and alcohol. Ability to stand for long periods of time while performing warehouse duties. Strong awareness of safety practices and ability to follow OSHA standards. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience working in a high-volume warehouse environment. Comfort working with alcohol-related products, including wine. Attention to detail when inspecting products and recording pallet counts. Safety and organization are emphasized, and employees are expected to maintain a neat, hazard-free work area. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edison, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
