Experienced Warehouse Material Handler (7403)

Shift Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6:00AM-4:00PM ABC Supply Interiors, a division of ABC Supply Co., Inc., is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. In this role, you will pull orders for customers and load orders onto our company delivery trucks. You will perform picking and loading duties using a forklift.

Specific duties may include:

Following all applicable safety rules and procedures Receiving incoming building materials and placing them into inventory Organizing and maintaining the warehouse for effective and efficient utilization of available storage space while also ensuring that all products can be quickly retrieved for shipment Pulling ordered material from inventory and staging it for pickups and deliveries Maintaining all products in a quality and marketable condition Keeping accurate inventory records Operating a forklift safely and efficiently and being able to handle heavy and awkward loads Estimating the weight of forklift loads so that the delivery vehicles are properly loaded and are not overweight Physically sorting through various products in order to remove defective material Responsibilities may include assisting with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and delivery functions including unloading and staging of product at jobsites as assigned Specific qualifications include: Bilingual is Spanish/English is a plus Ability to be trained and licensed/certified by ABC Interiors to operate forklift equipment Ability to stand, climb, reach, bend, and twist throughout complete shifts Ability to lift and carry up to 250 lbs with assistance Previous warehouse experience is required Knowledge in all applicable building material products is preferred

Pay Rate Information:
