Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties, such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders.Hourly rate:
$_18.50___ Essential Duties and Responsibilities. (Note:
Other duties may be assigned.) Fill customer orders as assigned by picking, scale counting, packing, or shipping material. Generate appropriate labels for product identification and/or mark materials with identifying information. Prepare parcels for shipment in accordance with Heilind and customer specifications to prevent damage, ensure preservation, and accurate identification. Work in a manner that promotes efficient handling and minimizes waste. Participate in Company sponsored training and process improvement activities. Comply with all Company Policies as defined in the Company's Warehouse Orientation Packet. Pursue continuous improvement through training and process improvement. Comply with all applicable elements of the Company's Quality Management System. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Must have attention to detail. Other duties as assigned.SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to use electronic devices such as barcode scanners for material pulling and material put away. Basic computer skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Good interpersonal and communication skills Problem solver Team Player Good organizational and time-management skills. Attention to Detail Adaptability Dependability Salary Range $18.50 per Hour RequirementsEDUCATION
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.REQUIREMENTS

Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required Ability to learn & perform multiple tasks in a fast paced team environment Ability to work independently and safelyPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to perform the following; Sit, stand, or walk for long periods throughout the day, up to 8 hours per day. Repetitive movements -- bending, lifting, squatting. Ability to lift or move products up to 10 pounds regularly and frequently up to 25 pounds without assistance.. Physical stamina and manual dexterity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.WORKING CONDITIONS
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. This position is exposed to large moving equipment, including motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, lift trucks, and conveyor belts. The facility is equipped with both air condition and heat.
