Material Handler/ General Labor TeleSearch Staffing - 3.9 Norwood, NJ Job Details Temp-to-hire | Full-time $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Packing Basic math Forklift High school diploma or GED Materials handling Picking & packing Full Job Description The Material Handler / General Laborer is responsible for supporting warehouse and production operations by receiving, storing, moving, and preparing raw materials and finished goods. This position helps ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of materials throughout the facility while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company safety standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments. Move raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products throughout the facility. Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production and shipping. Accurately label, package, and store inventory in designated locations. Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting activities. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety, quality, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) procedures. Assist production personnel with material replenishment and general support tasks. Load and unload trucks in accordance with company procedures. Dispose of waste materials properly and maintain housekeeping standards. Complete required documentation and inventory records accurately. Perform other warehouse and general labor duties as assigned. Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math and communication skills.
