Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker and Truck Driver, where you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations and timely delivery of goods. This energetic position combines hands-on materials handling, inventory management, and safe driving practices to keep our distribution network running smoothly. You'll be at the forefront of warehouse distribution, operating heavy equipment, managing stock levels, and supporting order fulfillment processes—all while adhering to safety standards and OSHA regulations. Responsibilities Operate various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, replenishment, and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) such as AS400 or RF scanners Handle shipping and receiving tasks by preparing shipments, verifying orders with order pickers or order fulfillment teams, and ensuring proper packaging for transport Perform order picking and packing using specialized equipment like pickers or order pickers to meet customer specifications Load and unload trucks with heavy lifting techniques while maintaining safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards Conduct regular warehouse inspections for safety hazards, mechanical issues with equipment, or inventory discrepancies Support warehouse management by maintaining organized storage areas, stocking supplies, and assisting with warehouse distribution strategies Experience Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in inventory management systems such as AS400 or RF scanners Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, and load & unload procedures Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation Previous warehouse supervisor or management experience is a plus but not required; leadership skills are valued for team collaboration Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery maintenance is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in inventory control tasks Join us in a role that's energetic, essential, and rewarding!
