About Us:
Ethos Beauty Partners is a family-owned wholesale distributor of professional beauty products, shipping products to salons & spas in the five-state area. Ethos is currently seeking hard-working, reliable team members with a positive and motivated attitude in our fast-paced warehouse environment located in Runnemede, NJ.
Position summary:
Deliver orders to customers and Ethos stores throughout the Ethos Territory using the company delivery van. Territories can and will include local, Philadelphia (city and surrounding area), Delaware, north New Jersey, central New Jersey, south New Jersey and other areas as the business continues to grow. Not all areas are delivered to each day. When not making deliveries on certain days or upon return from making deliveries, this position will work in a support role within the warehouse which can and will include, picking, packing, receiving dock, product breakdown and other areas as needed. Be able to represent the company in a professional manner. At times assist company stores with minor repairs (change light bulbs, fix a shelf and other basic repairs), move product within the store, set up displays plus other functions as the need arises.
Essential job functions and responsibilities:
Participate in safety programs, comply with company safety rules & work with "safety first" behavior. Deliver to customers in a courteous, pleasant and professional manner. Have customers sign paperwork that delivery was made, collect COD's and hand in paperwork in a prompt, neat and organized manner each day upon return to the warehouse. Ensure that delivery van is kept clean on a daily basis. Ensure that delivery van is inspected each day and can be operated in a safe manner prior to going on the road. Hand in daily copy of the "Driver's Daily Inspection Report". Operate company van in a safe and courteous manner at all times. Responsible for safe keeping of the company card while in possession; signing out company card to purchase gas and sign back in when complete. Communicate with supervisor or manager if delivery cannot or was not made in a timely manner so that the customer may be advised. Ensure that company van is locked at all times while making deliveries or away from the vehicle. Ensure orders, materials and equipment needed to make deliveries are loaded prior to leaving the warehouse. At times, make pickups at various locations for the company As stated in position summary, work in the warehouse in various positions when not making deliveries or upon return from making deliveries. Experience & Education High School diploma or GED One to three years of previous delivery and or warehouse experience Successfully complete company offered safe defensive driving course Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, car insurance and vehicle registration. Perform duties while compliant with state and federal regulations including those related to the operation of vehicles and cell phone usage. Provide clean drivers abstract Pass company physical and drug screen May be required to wear company branded shirt, jacket, sweatshirt or other clothing Employed with Ethos for no less than (90) days having demonstrated reliability and high level of performance Employee in very good standing with respect to all company policy and work performance Ability to flex schedule to support customer demands (may include occasional OT and/or weekend work) Key Skills Must be able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing. Proficient use of warehouse systems, label product, build pallets & basis warehouse tools. Operational knowledge of material handling equipment and warehouse safety standards. Must be willing to accept new duties as business needs and the role evolve
Physical Demands:
Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis and be able to stand and or sit the majority of the shift to perform duties.
