Job Title:
Warehouse Worker Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker where you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will handle shipping and receiving duties, stock shelves, sort packages, and organize items efficiently. Responsibilities Perform shipping and receiving duties. Stock shelves, sort packages, and organize items. Scan, label, and mark inventory using RF scanners. Utilize manual pallet jacks for material handling. Essential Skills General labor experience. Proficiency in packing and shipping. Ability to use RF scanners. Knowledge of warehouse production and order picking. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Warehouse experience preferred. Ability to handle inventory and operate a pallet jack. Why Work Here? No forklift certification is required, but you will have the opportunity to train and certify on CROWN trucks upon permanent hire. Work Environment Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts navigate safely. No cellphones or electronics are permitted in the warehouse. Temperature conditions vary with the seasons: heated in winter (typically 60 degrees) but hot in summer, with fans and water coolers available. Contractors should dress in light, breathable layers, and sneakers, boots, or steel toe shoes are acceptable; open toe shoes, sandals, flats, and heels are prohibited. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $19.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
