6 Months With a Possibility of an Extension Job Description Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material handling operations in a fast-paced warehouse and workshop environment. This role ensures accurate processing of inbound and outbound shipments, maintains inventory accuracy, follows safety and quality standards, and contributes to operational efficiency through teamwork and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a physically demanding environment. Job Duties Receiving & Inspection Unpack and inspect incoming customer shipments. Prepare tools and materials for the next stage of the repair process. Accurately receive and log incoming items using SAP (training provided). Verify shipment contents and report discrepancies as needed. Shipping & Fulfillment Prepare, package, and label outbound shipments. Ensure shipping documentation is completed accurately. Process Hazmat documentation for UPS, FedEx, and LTL shipments. Coordinate shipment preparation to meet delivery deadlines. Inventory & Material Handling Assist with warehouse inventory management and stock control. Maintain spare parts and packaging material inventory. Replenish packaging supplies and ensure proper organization. Support loading and unloading of trucks and material movement throughout the facility. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Comfortable using computers and warehouse software systems. SAP experience preferred; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks preferred. Effective verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Strong sense of urgency, accountability, and integrity. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively. Physical Requirements Regular lifting of 50+ lbs. Occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs. Ability to load and unload trucks and move warehouse materials. Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, climbing, and material handling activities. Ability to work safely around warehouse machinery and equipment. Preferred Skills SAP or ERP system experience. Shipping and receiving experience. Inventory management and warehouse operations knowledge. Hazmat shipping documentation experience.
