1040 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite B, Trenton, NJ 08638 Position Summary We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team. This is an entry-level, hands-on role that supports all four areas of our warehouse operations: supply chain support, meal portioning and sealing, order picking and packing, and shipping. No prior experience is required — we will train the right person. What matters most is a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Must be able to obtain a New Jersey Food Handler Certification (training and cost covered by employer) Must be authorized to work in the United States Working Conditions Active work environment requiring regular bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, overhead reaching, and carrying; tasks may involve exerting up to 49 pounds of force Appropriate PPE is required for designated tasks Prolonged standing and walking throughout the workday Production and shipping days may require extended hours; overtime is mandatory during peak cycles Saturday shift is required during high‑demand production periods Work schedules vary by production cycle — flexibility is essential Essential Responsibilities Meal Portioning & Primary Packaging Set up and maintain portioning stations for each product SKU Apply product labels accurately before each portioning run Hand-portion fresh meals into individual meal trays according to recipe and weight specifications Work alongside the sealing operator to ensure a smooth, continuous production flow Comply with all sanitation and safe food handling procedures, follow guidelines from the Department of Health (DOL), ServSafe, and HACCP for Food Manufacturing Order Pick & Pack (Secondary Packaging) Pick customer orders accurately from cold storage - refrigerated environment at approximately 35°F for extended periods, including full-day shifts Pack orders in insulated shipping boxes with ice gel packs according to packing standards Apply shipping labels and verify order accuracy before handoff Shipping & Logistics Support Assist with staging and organizing packed orders for carrier pickup Move products between cold storage, portioning stations, and packing areas using speed racks or carts Support the team during shipping days to ensure all orders are dispatched on time Supply Chain & General Warehouse Support Assist with restocking packaging materials, gel ice packs, and other production supplies Help maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment at all times Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols Support inventory counts and supply as needed Required Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • ANSI-accredited food handler training certificate (or willingness to complete the training)
  • Warehouse &/or kitchen-related experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for up to eight hours. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 49 pounds, as well as bend, twist, kneel, and reach
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Punctual and reliable with a passion for food!
