Non-Exempt Position Summary The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials and inventory. This role ensures accurate inventory records, timely movement of materials, and a safe, organized warehouse environment. The Warehouse Clerk works closely with production, purchasing, shipping, and receiving teams to support operational efficiency and on-time delivery. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders. Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies. Accurately enter inventory transactions into the company system. Label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production orders and customer shipments. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory audits. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to Purchasing or Warehouse Management. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified). Assist with shipping documentation and recordkeeping. Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse and operations teams. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsEducation High School Diploma or GED required. Experience 1-3 years of warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred. Manufacturing environment experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Basic inventory control and warehouse procedures knowledge. Ability to read packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory reports. Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office. Experience with ERP or inventory management systems preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely move materials and inventory throughout the facility. Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Work Environment Warehouse and manufacturing facility setting. Exposure to machinery, material handling equipment, and varying warehouse conditions. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required based on work area. $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
