Job Description
Come create your career with Volt! Volt is immediately hiring a Commercial Mover/General Laborer in Albuquerque, NM. As a Commercial Mover/General Laborer you will: Report daily based on dispatch communication and arrive on time prepared for assigned jobs Move, load, unload, and transport items of varying sizes, shapes, and weights at job sites Assist with onsite moves, relocations, and disposal of materials as needed Load trucks for transport and safely secure items for delivery Travel to multiple job sites throughout the day and adapt to changing work environments Assist with furniture assembly, installation, and basic construction tasks Follow instructions from team leads and collaborate with crew members on job completion Return to warehouse after jobs to unload trucks, clean equipment, and reset for next day Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including trucks and facility Follow safety procedures while performing physical labor This is a full-time, Temp-to-hire opportunity. Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm Commercial Mover/General Laborer candidates must meet the following requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening High school diploma or equivalent preferred Ability to lift up to 75 lbs independently and perform physically demanding work Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and non-climate-controlled environments Ability to stand, walk long distances, and remain on feet for extended periods Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality with the ability to follow dispatch instructions Ability to follow direction from team leads and work effectively in a team environment Comfortable traveling to multiple job sites throughout the day Basic mechanical aptitude or experience with hand and power tools preferred Experience with furniture assembly or construction-related tasks is a plus Commitment to maintaining a clean workspace, equipment, and vehicles Positive attitude, coachability, and willingness to participate in training and team development activities Pay for this position is $17/hr. •Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should
