General Labor / Recycling Yard Associate

Ōnin Staffing is hiring General Labor / Recycling Yard Associates for W. Silver Recycling in Albuquerque. W. Silver Recycling is a full-service recycling company that supports manufacturers, businesses, and industrial customers with recycling and by-product management services. This position is a great opportunity for dependable candidates who enjoy hands-on work, staying active, and working in an outdoor/industrial environment. Pay $15.00 per hour Schedule Day shift Job Duties General Labor / Recycling Yard Associates will assist with daily recycling yard and production operations.

Duties may include:

Sorting recyclable materials such as metal, cardboard, paper, plastics, pallets, and other industrial materials Loading and unloading materials from trucks, bins, containers, or production areas Separating materials by type, size, and quality Assisting with movement of scrap metal and other recyclable products Keeping the yard, warehouse, and work areas clean, organized, and safe Using basic hand tools as needed Following all safety rules and company procedures Working around forklifts, trucks, machinery, and industrial equipment Performing other general labor duties as assigned by supervisors

Skills and Experience:

Requirements Must be dependable and able to report to work on time Must be comfortable working in a recycling yard, warehouse, or industrial environment Must be able to stand, bend, lift, push, pull, and move throughout the shift Must be able to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions Must be able to follow directions and work safely around equipment Previous general labor, warehouse, recycling, construction, or yard experience is a plus Must be able to pass all required pre-employment screenings Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, safety-minded, and comfortable with physical labor.
