Job Description

Summary The Warehouse Associate requires an accommodating and analytical person who likes producing highly precise and accurate work. The primary role is to receive and track incoming project materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects while maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse/shop. Will be required to pick up and deliver material, tools, or equipment to job sites. The warehouse associate follows all B&D's policies and procedures, brings accountability to work, and provides consistent quality customer service. Precise, consistent work output is essential, requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. Consistent, error-free work based on defined regulations and standards are key measures of job performance success. Benefits

  • Perform general maintenance on/in B&D's buildings
  • Assist in the maintenance and management of the fleet
  • Pick up and/or deliver materials, tools, and equipment to job sites and/or back to the warehouse
  • Ship and receive parts, supplies, tools, and inventory
  • Sign for inventory when delivered after the product has been checked against the packing slip to ensure all items are accounted for in good condition
  • Coordinate with vendors for parts, hardware, or material
  • Return excess inventory back to the vendor
  • Safely operate a forklift
  • Responsible for sign-in/out tool tracking
  • Physical demands include long hours sitting, using a computer, standing, pulling/pushing, walking, lifting, and climbing
  • The job requires intermediate computer proficiency and advanced critical thinking skills
  • Other duties, activities, and responsibilities may vary and change as assigned Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Relevant work experience may substitute for schooling
