NYDIG is explosively expanding in the Bitcoin mining space which requires dedicated professionals to support our expanding field operations. NYDIG is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure that field operations and repair teams have the necessary supplies. Description In this role, reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor, Warehouse & Inventory and based in our field operations in Hobbs, New Mexico, you will be an integral member of the Warehouse Team. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the physical handling, organization, and accurate tracking of equipment and materials within NYDIG's warehouses. They play a critical role in ensuring that field operations and repair teams have the necessary supplies. Responsibilities Perform receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping of various items. Load and unload trucks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Assist with inventory counts. Independently handle complex receiving or shipping tasks. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Troubleshoot minor inventory discrepancies. Provide guidance to junior associates. Assist supervisors with task delegation and training. Ensure team adherence to procedures.
General Responsibilities for all levels:
Daily data entry into ERP (Oracle) Collecting materials/equipment and safely moving same to the proper area in the warehouse Ensuring that all materials/equipment are safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping/transport Load, unload, and move material within or near the warehouse Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand Pack and ship orders small parcels using FedEx shipping software Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks Keep track of inventory levels and notify management of potential shortages Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations Light warehouse maintenance
  • this includes clearing sidewalks from sand, snow, and ice Other duties as assigned.
Accurately record all incoming and outgoing inventory using a WMS or tracking system. Prepare freight shipments, including proper labeling and packaging. Operate material handling equipment safely. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. Report any damaged goods or inventory discrepancies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 0-2 years warehouse experience Requires lift, lower, push and pull all sizes of merchandise up to 50 lbs Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back Must be detail oriented Accountability Must be a team player willing to take on additional roles as needed Strong analytical ability and willingness to accept and learn from feedback Have a good attitude and willingness to learn Willing to complete and pass background check Must have a valid drivers license and an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) Excellent communication & above entry level computer skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Forklift Preferred Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
