Job Description

Adecco is assisting a major client in their search for a Material Handler in Las Vegas. This is a contract opportunity, offering weekly pay and an opportunity to expand your experience. Monday - Friday, and every other Saturday. (7:30am - 4:30pm) + Weekly Paycheck Job Description
  • :•The Material Handler's primary purpose is receiving, filling, and shipping products accurately and efficiently.
You be assigned all or some of the various warehouse job functions including fulfillment, product picking, wrapping and packing, stock replenishment, customer will call, and inventory cycle counts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to
  • :•+ Receives product by unloading trucks using forklift, pallet jack, electric pallet jack, or by hand.
+ Ensures shipments received are in good condition and accurate by inspecting freight for damage and signing freight bills, verifying quantity ordered versus quantity received, checking all shipments against packing lists, and completing necessary paperwork for reimbursements or discrepancies. + Fill orders by picking products, packing items into cartons, stacking them in a manner that minimizes damage, entering items into scan gun, and completing necessary paperwork. + Prepare orders by preparing trucks for shipments; palletizing and wrapping orders; loading pallets and pieces into trucks; placing packing list in last skid; and completing necessary paperwork. + Maintains a safe work environment by working in a safe manner, following safety rules, maintaining equipment, and maintaining a clean work area. Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered: + High School Diploma/GED + 1+ years of Forklift and Material Handling experience + Ability to stand/walk/bend for the duration of the shift + Ability to lift/push/pull 40+ lbs
