Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team. In this vital role, you will support the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, operating forklift, and ensuring a safe and organized warehouse and yard space. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help maintain a safe, productive, and well-organized warehouse environment. Duties Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse. Perform materials handling tasks such as heavy lifting, stacking pallets, stocking shelves, and organizing storage areas to optimize space utilization. Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards through proper use of mechanical knowledge and adherence to safety protocols during all warehouse operations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors on daily operations and work Assist with basic equipment and vehicle maintenance. Skills/Qualifications Provide general warehouse support as instructed. Must have valid drivers license with clean MVR Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven experience operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail. Mechanical aptitude with a good understanding of materials handling equipment operation and basic maintenance of small equipment and machinery repairs. Experience working in construction environments is a plus. Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings. This role provides valuable hands-on experience. We welcome energetic individuals with the willingness to learn.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
