Future of Outdoor Living Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the efficient daily operations of the warehouse. Key duties include receiving, storing, and distributing materials; ensuring inventory accuracy; maintaining a clean and organized work environment; and following all safety protocols. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment while upholding company quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Shipping:

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Ensure timely and accurate shipping of products to customers.

Inventory Management:

Organize and store inventory in designated locations for easy retrieval. Perform regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy. Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages to the supervisor.

Warehouse Operations:

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Follow company procedures for labeling, storing, and documenting materials.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Report safety hazards or violations to the supervisor immediately.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to resolve issues. Assist in training new warehouse employees when needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Previous warehouse experience (preferred but not required - willing to train). Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) or willingness to obtain certification. Basic math and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Safety Physical Activities:

Daily activity includes but is not limited to: Lifting, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting. Reading, communication, simple math. Standing on a fatigue mat in a specific area throughout a 10 hour+ shift. Be able to regularly lift/move up to 50lbs. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to above moderate.

Competitive hourly pay (non-exempt), commensurate with experience.
