Warehouse Associate / Backup Driver

Must be over 21 with a valid drivers license and able to pass all pre-hire background, MVR and drug test (including marijuana due to federal regulations).

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of duties such as: Receiving, Shipping and Warehouse organization tasks.

Receiving tasks include:

unloading shipments and stocking the warehouse shelves. Shipping tasks are the main function of this position which include Picking, Packaging and assisting delivery drivers. Warehouse organization tasks include putting away stock in a timely manner to keep the dock and warehouse isles clear for movement. Will act as a back up Accessory Delivery Driver of our 17 ft box trucks as needed. Receiving Receive and unload inventory and verify packing lists for accuracy of shipment. Inspect shipments for damages and document according to CVO Procedures. Put away new shipments in a timely manner to ensure dock is available to receive deliveries. Stock Shelves in the warehouse. Operate forklift, pallet jack and dolly in the handling of inventory. Shipping Assist Drivers in picking orders, loading vehicles efficiently. Pick and prepare the FedEx ground shipments by 4:30 daily. Pick and prepare GM returns as directed by the Operations Manager. Assisting with deliveries during driver vacations, sick days or emergencies as directed by the operations manager. Utilize Southware to aid in pulling or product. Warehouse Maintain organization throughout the warehouse. Maintain all warehouse equipment in their dedicated location and notify operations manager of any needed equipment. (Brooms, Trashcans, Snow shovels, wheel dollies, carts, ladders) Ensure all trash and cardboard is in their correct receptacles and ready for pick up on the assigned day. Store pallets in like sizes on the pad outside the installation area and notify operations manager for removal. Weekly BIN counts as directly by operations manager. Become proficient with Southware to manage warehouse organization and locations. Complete Forklift inspection form daily and provide completed form to the operations manager. Provide input to management regarding inventory stocking efficiencies. Act as a back-up delivery driver as needed.
