Pay:
$18- $25 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Occasional Saturday overtime available (optional). Bison Scrap is closed Saturdays, but help may be available at our Twin Village location inDepew Paid Training:

Outdoor / warehouse (covered, but exposed to weather conditions) Bison Scrap is looking for a reliable Scale Buyer to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting, grading, weighing, and purchasing non-ferrous scrap materials while providing great customer service. This is a hands-on, outdoor position ideal for someone who enjoys active work and interacting with customers. What You'll Do Greet and assist customers bringing in non-ferrous scrap metal Inspect and identify different grades of metal Weigh materials using a scale and enter information into a touch-screen system Generate tickets for customer payment Move materials from the scale to designated warehouse areas Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety policies and procedures What We're Looking For Experience with hands-on or manual work in a demanding environment Background in warehouse, production, construction, landscaping, or similar work is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person Strong customer service and communication skills Patience and professionalism when working with challenging customers Basic math and computer skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move heavy materials Comfortable working outdoors in varying temperatures (covered area, but exposed to heat and cold) Why Work at Bison Scrap?
