Overview:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position will provide direct support to the warehouse by assisting with all aspects of merchandise inventory management and fulfillment of webstore orders.
Position Type:
This is a part-time position that will work in-person at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, NY. The salary for this position is $16.00/hour.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with all aspects of inventory management, including but not limited to counting, tagging and warehousing inventory Receive and prepare merchandise for sale Deliver merchandise to the museum store and bookstore Warehouse merchandise stored in the stockroom Maintain a clean and safe work environment Process webstore orders by pulling and packaging merchandise
Secondary Responsibilities:
Provide staff support for Hall of Fame Weekend events as needed All other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education and Experience:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Warehouse experience is preferred, but not required
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with colleagues.
Typical Physical Demands:
The nature of this work involves constant movement including walking, bending, stretching, standing, carrying, pulling, pushing, lifting, and moving up to 50lbs with or without accommodations.

Computer, printer, pallet jack
