is a leading distributor of machine vision solutions and high-performance imaging components. We supply industry-leading cameras, lenses, sensors, and cables used in industrial automation and high-tech manufacturing. Position Overview We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our Deer Park facility. In this role, you will handle the day-to-day logistics of receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Because our inventory consists of high-value, sensitive electronic and optical components, accuracy and careful handling are paramount.
Note:
Our warehouse does not utilize heavy machinery. There are no forklifts in use at this facility, and no forklift certification is required.
Key Responsibilities Order Fulfillment:
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring that delicate machine vision components are securely packaged to prevent transit damage.
Receiving:
Unpack and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, checking for accuracy and inspecting for potential shipping damage.
Inventory Management:
Organize and stock products in their designated bins. Participate in regular cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
Quality Control:
Cross-check specific part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities to ensure order precision.
Shipping Operations:
Generate shipping labels and documentation using internal software, and coordinate daily pickups with parcel carriers.
Workspace Maintenance:
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or retail inventory setting is preferred. High level of attention to detail, specifically the ability to match complex alphanumeric part numbers accurately. Basic computer literacy for processing shipments and updating inventory systems. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet daily shipping deadlines. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during the shift. Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs safely. Fine motor skills for handling small, sensitive optical and electronic components.
Pay:
$18.00 - $19.40 per hour
