Duties Safely load and unload household goods using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks Operate cranes and other mechanical tools to move large or fragile items with precision Pack belongings securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit Coordinate with team members to plan efficient routes and loading strategies Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation via RF scanners and warehouse management systems Use order picker equipment to retrieve items from storage areas quickly and accurately Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to OSHA safety standards and best practices in materials handling Load and unload moving trucks efficiently while ensuring the safety of all team members and belongings Support warehouse management system updates to track inventory movements and shipment statuses Experience Proven warehouse experience with a focus on distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks Prior experience in construction or logistics environments preferred Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment use Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems for inventory control Experience supervising or coordinating teams in a warehouse setting is advantageous Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help families start their new chapters!
