Friday:

6:30am-2:30pm. NY State Solar sells, designs, and builds quality solar systems in the New York City metropolitan area! Our focus is to provide an outstanding customer experience and deliver a high quality PV system. Dedicated to helping New York become economically and environmentally sustainable. A Warehouse Associate will be responsible for supporting Construction Dept. and Warehouse Management. Including warehousing, the pulling and staging of materials, the loading of installation trucks and driving.

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

Picker - Picks and stages jobs for all field staff (Install, Service, Site Surveyor) and replenish picking locations, when needed Accurately stages materials and documentation for up to six projects per day Ensure installation crew trucks are adequately stocked and organized on a daily basis Load all trucks daily with required materials for the assigned project Maintains warehouse in clean and orderly fashion Support Warehouse Manager with any warehouse related administrative duties including, Fleet Management, Tool tracking, Receiving/shipping, Data entry Transports materials and equipment to project sites, when needed Delivers emergency material NJ warehouse, when needed Back up to inventory associate Additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

1+ years experience in a warehouse Ability to operate forklift Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy Must be organized and able to multi-task and set priorities Clear verbal and written communication Must possess valid Drivers License, and meet requirements of company insurance carrier Comfortable driving to Tri-State Area and NJ Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, candidates are occasionally required to be on their feet for long periods of time. Comfortably able to lift 50lbs.
