Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate for Ricky's Plumbing & Heating Supplies will be primarily responsible for processing inbound/outbound transactions in a timely and accurate manner, applying inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and servicing/supporting clients and departments.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Unload and load trucks daily. Maintain warehouse cleanliness & adhere to safety procedures which include clearing walkways (i.e. moving skids off the floor), keeping entrance to exits/entrances clear (including the loading dock), discarding empty boxes, etc. Assist in processing inbound deliveries daily which requires a thorough reconciliation of vendor's packing slip to our PO receiver, inspection of all product for any visible damage and accurately locating & neatly putting product away. Assist in customer pick ups by locating orders for pick up via Eclipse, pulling correct items and assisting the client load their vehicles. Assist Warehouse Supervisor in preparing daily cycle counts which include location audits, maintenance, etc. Process RGA's and assist the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining the RGA shelves. Communicate and coordinate with other departments (i.e. Accounting, Purchasing, Customer Service, etc.) to answer any stock checks, questions or assist in trouble shooting issues. Report hazardous conditions immediately to Operations Manager. Any safety incidents will require proper documentation based on our Safety guidelines. Job Qualifications Required to lift and move at least 50 lbs. Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook) Proficient in Solar Eclipse distribution management system (preferred) Keen attention to detail & effective communication skills Produce work with a high degree of accuracy and focus while multi-tasking Customer service focused Possess problem-solving skills and readiness to research solutions Ability to prioritize work and process large volume transactions
