Job Description

  • Adecco is hiring for a Laborer-Material Set-up position for a company located in Liverpool, NY.
  • Payrate- $17.00-$18.00 1st Shift-6:00am-2:30pm The Material Set-Up Laborer is responsible for preparing, organizing, transporting, and staging production materials to support manufacturing operations. This role ensures materials are set up correctly, safely, and efficiently while meeting company quality and production standards.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Set up and stage production materials according to work instructions and specifications.
+ Load, unload, transport, and store materials using hand trucks, for manual handling. + Read blueprints and follow setup procedures to ensure accuracy and quality. + Use measuring tools and basic math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances. + Inspect materials for defects and resolve setup issues as needed. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. + Meet production goals and follow all company safety and OSHA regulations. + Assist in other production areas and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Manufacturing or material setup experience preferred. + Basic math, blueprint reading, and measuring tool knowledge required. + Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills. + Valid driver's license required.
  • Physical Requirements
  • + Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. + Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures. + Must wear required PPE and follow all safety procedures.
  • Pay Details:
  • $17.
