General Laborer

Job Title:

Manufacturing Laborer Job Description Operate manufacturing and testing equipment for all products. Provide labor, testing, evaluation, and documentation for production, as well as support for the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Read, understand, and follow procedures. Maintain production records and enter data in electronic files. Perform routine equipment maintenance, including minor repairs and modifications. Execute sheet manufacturing tasks such as hot roll sheet, cold roll sheet, waterjet use, shear edges, surface grind sheet, acid etch sheet, anneal sheet, hot press annealing, shipping preparation, and final cleaning. Measure sheets using appropriate measuring equipment. Maintain production records and ensure product identity. Receive, identify, sort, document, store, and distribute sheet and thin sheet samples for chemistry, metallographic, and mechanical tests. Safely handle hazardous materials and wastes during production processes. Work safely and adhere to all safety procedures. Essential Skills General labor skills Production experience Proficiency with hand tools Experience with power tools Assembly skills Machine operation Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED Work Environment The work environment involves operating within a medical device manufacturing company. The role includes handling various manufacturing tasks in a setting that emphasizes safety and precision. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Hartford, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
